Lake Matheson, also known as Mirror Lake, is a stunning natural gem near Fox Glacier on New Zealand's South Island. Famous for its perfect reflections of Aoraki/Mount Cook and Mount Tasman, the lake was formed by glacial retreat around 14,000 years ago.
